The devastating incident occurred at Oxford United's Training Centre located in Horspath. Medical personnel from both Oxford United and Fulham, along with emergency responders, provided immediate care, but tragically, Amelia could not be revived.
In an official statement, Oxford United extended their deepest sympathies. Martin Brock, chief executive of the JPL, remembered Amelia as "a leader and bright light in our ALL STARS program," adding that her passing creates an emptiness that cannot be expressed in words.
Oxfordshire Councillor Liam Walker expressed the community's collective grief, calling the news "utterly devastating." Writing on Facebook, he said: "She will forever be a yellow."
